Sick of wiping in PUGs? People coming to raid with no consumables, undergeared, and not repaired? Fear not, we can fix that. EMG has started a guild on the Atiesh server and we have every intention of being the best on the server. We want to be top dogs without being elitist pricks. The idea is simple, help people get geared up, come to raid prepared, and clear content while having fun and building lasting friendships.

You don’t have to be the hardest of the hardcore. We are not going to inspect you for every single best in slot piece and we are not going to make a checklist of consumables for you to bring. As long as you are putting your best foot forward and doing your best to be your best you’ll have a raid slot with us.

Priest Healer - Open

Exceptional players will always be considered regardless of class and role.

Willing to consider any specs but the ones listed above take priority.

Requirements:

1) Must be level 50+ (Lower levels may apply but will be expected to reach level cap at a reasonable pace)

2) Must be able to make the following raid times:

Tuesday & Thursday: 6pm - 9pm server

Saturday: 6pm - 9pm server *this is a backup day, we most likely will use Saturday to get a quick Onyxia kill and that will be it. During progression we may raid this full time frame.

3) Must be respectful to guildies and other people you encounter in the world. People get tilted and sometimes things happen that are unfortunate and that is fine but you must maintain a respectful demeanor. If you group with others in dungeons or during questing make sure to pass out mage water, give out buffs, and be a pleasure to be around. Giving players buffs while passing them in the wild is a plus. Remember, you represent the guild everywhere you go and we want to have a positive reputation on the server. Helping a player now can pay dividends later on.

4) When guildies need help farming a piece of gear or materials and you’re just sitting in a capital city, please help them. Classic WoW is a team effort and we want to make sure that everyone on the team is helping out. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

5) As stated above, we are not going to expect perfect gear and consumables, we understand that not everyone has infinite time to play. However, you will be expected to have raid ready gear and you must have at least mana/health potions and food buffs. These do not take long to farm and are very cheap on the auction house. It is worth noting that the more effort you put into your prep the more you will be rewarded come raid time and perk time.

6) Discord is 100% required. You don’t need to have a mic but you absolutely do have to be in the voice channel so that you can listen to raid leader’s calls and adapt to situations on the fly.

Perks:

1) You will get to clear all of the content that Classic WoW has to offer including all future raid tiers.

2) You will be helping to build a family of players that share the same passions that you do. We encourage camaraderie to the fullest extent and at the end of the day the game is about having fun. Realistically to farm out all the consumables you need each week should only take a couple hours and the raids hopefully will be able to be consistently cleared in a single 3 hour session.

Loot Distribution:

Loot distribution will be done by a loot council with a couple exceptions mostly for the gear that is not BiS.

Tanks will always get priority on BiS items. There should be little overlap here but DPS should be wary that the main tank will be the first to get Thunderfury (sorry hunters).

People need to be aware that the end goal is to have everyone as close to the same level as possible. If you already have raid drop shoulders and another member is still using pre-raid BiS loot may be pushed to the person who will see the biggest upgrade provided that they are consistent and putting in the effort. They may have just had poor luck with rolls in the past or have not seen an upgrade drop yet so please be considerate. We don’t play favorites and never will.

Loot council decision making process with always be 100% transparent.
